Humanitarian service is one of the noblest acts a person can perform, and dedicating personal resources for the welfare of society is highly commendable. Following the directives of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, Sakhawat Hossain Farhad, founder of the Afzal Hossain Smriti Parishad of Mymensingh City Corporation Ward 20, set a shining example of compassion by supporting underprivileged and needy individuals in the community.

On Friday evening, June 6, 2025, a special humanitarian initiative was organized under the guidance of Advocate Didarul Islam Raju, General Secretary of the District South Jubo Dal. The event was also attended by Sakhawat Hossain Farhad, Secretary for Forest & Environment of the District Jubo Dal.

As part of the Eid-ul-Azha celebrations, the program distributed essential gifts to deserving individuals:

This initiative was undertaken to ensure that the spirit of Eid brings smiles to the faces of those less fortunate, reflecting BNP’s commitment to standing beside the people.

Speaking at the event, Sakhawat Hossain Farhad said,
“Under the directives of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman and with the overall supervision of District South Jubo Dal General Secretary Advocate Didarul Islam Raju, I had the honor of distributing these Eid gifts. Our aim is to spread joy and provide support to those in need during this blessed occasion.”

Through such initiatives, Afzal Hossain Smriti Parishad continues its mission of social service and humanitarian support, setting a strong example of care, compassion, and community involvement in Mymensingh.
